COVID-19
Policy and Guidelines

The Charm School Project for Girls, Inc. will be taking extra precautions to keep our students and staff members safe.

We have equipped our establishment with wellness essentials and will be enforcing new procedures regarding sanitation and cleanliness. If you have any questions about our mandatory guidelines, sick policy and/or travel policy, please send us an email

  1. All students/parents must complete the Covid-19 Questionnaire on Google Forms upon arrival. It is imperative that your child arrives early to class so that the following procedures can be completed in a timely fashion.

  2. After confirming the receipt of the questionnaire, your daughter will receive a temperature check with a touchless thermometer. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4 will not be permitted upstairs.

  3. Once the student has passed the screening, they will be allowed to proceed into the hall and will be asked to wash and sanitize their hands immediately.

  4. Parents, please make sure all dance attire is clean and has not been worn anywhere else since it was last washed. All students should arrive in their dance attire and uniformed cover-ups ready to dance.

  5. All students and staff will be required to wear masks.

  6. Hand sanitizer will be present and will be used throughout the sessions, when it is needed. Also, we have equipped the hall with bleach, hand sanitizer stations, Clorox wipes, Lysol spray and antibacterial soap.

  7. Students will have an assigned, individual place for their items. All items should be placed in their dance bag. Any items outside of their dance bag (excluding water bottles) will not be permitted inside the hall. Students will need to bring their own water bottle to each class.

  8. We will have the floor marked and each dancer will receive their own individual space both on and off the dance area.

  9. The studio will be cleaned between each session of students, and all high touch surfaces will be wiped down.

  10. Attendance will be recorded by staff. Students will no longer sign themselves in. Staff members will be signing the students out. Parents will no longer sign their own child/children out.

  11. Dismissal will be conducted by the staff. We ask that you wait in the stairwell on the left-hand side. Please be prompt picking up your daughter, so we may complete our cleaning procedures and welcome our next group of students into the studio on time.

  12. Staff will be updated on current COVID-19 health and workplace guidelines such as, hand hygiene and cleaning protocols. Staff will also be informed on the proper responses to students who may challenge social distancing, facial covering, and other guidelines.

  13. Parents and guests will not be allowed in the hall area unless otherwise given proper notification to Chabria or Jasmine. If granted permission, a temperature check is required.

  14. Guidelines may be updated at any time with new information from the County, State, or Federal Government. We reserve the right to offer additional safety precautions outside of government guidelines to best protect our students, staff, and families.

  15. While we will do our best to provide the safest environment possible and minimize risks, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. By attending this session, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Sick Policy

We will be exercising many precautions on our part, but maintaining a safe and clean environment will require your attention as well. We ask that you do NOT send your child to class if she is displaying any of the symptoms mentioned below. Our goal is to make sure everyone is in a healthy and safe space.

  1. If your child is experiencing chills, runny nose, coughs, excessive sneezing, and/or a fever, we are asking parents to keep their child home and to go see a doctor.

  2. If a child is out sick with cold/flu-like symptoms, we will require a signed doctor note on letterhead upon her return.

  3. Staff members will have the discretion to determine if a child needs to be sent home or not. If a child displays any symptoms mentioned above, we will be sure to call and ask the parent to come and pick up their child immediately.

Travel Policy

If your child is traveling outside of the country, on a cruise or will be traveling by plane during the session, we ask that you notify us immediately. We are requiring that you share your child’s travel plans, ahead of the time so that we are aware. Please note any international travel will result in a self-quarantine period.
